Opportunities to Taste and Learn
Opportunities to Taste and Learn
While there is much mystique and, yes, snobbery surrounding the world of wine, the bottom line is: it’s meant to be enjoyed. And if you like it, then that’s that. But there is always more to learn, no matter how long you’ve been drinking wine, and a little added knowledge can always broaden one’s experience and heighten one’s enjoyment.
We offer several ways to learn more about wine:

Just wanted to
restate what a great class you guys put on last night! ... We’re so lucky to have you as our local shop.”
—Angie
We run a variety of wine classes throughout the year. All classes are taught by local wine experts and are held upstairs in our tasting loft here at the shop. All classes begin at 7:30 and run about two hours. The cost is $35 ($30 for club members) per class. We have gift certificates if you’d like to treat someone to a future class.
We coordinate with local restaurants to present occasional wine dinners. These events showcase some of the outstanding restaurants in West Seattle, and feature wines specially selected to highlight the menus.
